Will my iPhone work with an eSIM in Indonesia & Bali?
Yes — iPhones from the XS onwards support eSIM, as do most recent Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models. Just check your phone is unlocked; if you bought it outright in Australia, you're almost certainly fine.
Can I keep my Australian number while I'm in Bali?
Yes. The eSIM sits alongside your physical SIM, so your Australian number stays active for calls and texts — including bank codes — while your data runs through the eSIM. Just turn off data roaming on your Australian SIM to avoid surprise charges.
